4th Round Wednesday 31st October 2007 (7.45pm) Liverpool 2-1 Cardiff City Robbie Fowler returned to Anfield in Cardiff blue - but it was El Zhar and Gerrard who helped the reds in to the next round
5th Round (Quarter Final) Wednesday 19th December 2007 (7.45pm) Chelsea 2-0 Liverpool Liverpool sent out a weakened side who competed well but Peter Crouch's straight red card ended any hope of a trip to Wembley.
