Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made a full eleven change to the Liverpool team set to face Spurs in the League Cup 4th Round.

Klopp - Pre Spurs programme notes

The entire first team has been changed from the one that beat West Brom 2-1 at the weekend.

Simon Mignolet has been recalled to the line-up with rare starts for former first teamers Lucas Leiva (centre-back) and Alberto Moreno.  Kevin Stewart, an often used player towards the end of last season, also returns to the side.

Ovie Ejaria the reds talented 18 year old also starts for the reds.

Summer arrival Marko Grujic gets another chance to impress - with the unlikely duo of Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge starting the game.

The bench is filled with recent first team players apart from Danny Ings who is likely to feature tonight after impressing for the Under 23's.

LFC Line-Up

Confirmed LFC team: Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Lucas, Klavan, Moreno, Stewart, Wijnaldum, Grujic, Ejaria, Origi, Sturridge

Subs: Karius, Clyne, Lovren, Can, Lallana, Mane, Ings

Manager Notes

In tonight's match programme the Liverpool boss said:

I would like to acknowledge the brilliant contribution from our supporters to the result we had at the weekend (against West Brom).

They were really on it and lifted the players when they needed lifting.

It might be a late night for them this evening, we do not know.

But I’ve seen here before that when a game goes beyond the 90 and into extra time they keep the energy levels high and the atmosphere special. I’m sure they’ll play their part well.

The game will be decided tonight with the game progressing to penalties if required.
