Liverpool maintained their streak of fine form, with a 2-1 victory away at West Ham United tonight.

West Ham 1-2 Liverpool

After a frustrating goalless first half, Dirk Kuyt opened the scoring three minutes in to the second half. Peter Crouch, on his 26th birthday, grabbed the 2nd goal five minutes later.

However West Ham who are facing the drop made a game of it after scoring with 15 minutes left.

The reds held on and moved to within 2 points of Chelsea and 8 of United, both sides playing tomorrow.
