Fowler may have played his last game for Liverpool – or his finest hour may still be to come. Either way the player is still amazed that he is even in with a shout.
The striker who remains on Liverpool’s books until after Athens, was reminiscing with the official magazine about the day he went to Istanbul and how he thought his Liverpool chances had passed him by.
In the magazine Robbie said:
“I was in Portugal on holiday and met up with Steve McManaman to travel over to Turkey.”
“Sitting there in the stands, watching the game from a fan’s perspective, I remember thinking the chance to take part in a game like that with Liverpool had well passed me by. I’d never have dreamt of this back then.
“Who knows, I could be sat in the stands again this time! But just having the chance to be involved in the Champions League final as a Liverpool player again is surreal for me.”
Has the God got one more magic moment left for our God? With 7 players available on the bench – he is in with a decent chance.

the name says it all god, god ,god
none of our “top” strikers have really shone this season so GOD should at least be on the bench for the champions league final!
