Liverpool are away at Preston North End in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.
The reds last played Preston in the FA Cup in 1962 when a 0-0 draw at Anfield, was followed by a 0-0 replay, which was followed by a 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford in the second replay!
The games will be played on the weekend of the 3rd and 4th January 2009.
Not a bad draw i suppose, it could have been much worse! Ex red in their team in Neil Mellor, looking forward to it, it should be a good game
