Some new boys, and some not so new boys will get their chance to shine tonight as Liverpool take on Crewe Alexandra in the League Cup.
Liverpool’s two biggest bench-warmers of the season so far will get their opportunity in the first eleven. For Diego Cavalieri it will be his competitive Liverpool FC debut in goal, and for Daniel Agger it will be only his second competitive fixture of the season as he finds himself behind Carra, Skrtel and even Hyypia in Rafa’s current thinking.
Nabil El Zhar, Insua, Plessis and Pacheco are all players who could also feature in tonight’s ine up.
Crewe will be sensing an upset.
Kick off is 8pm.
