Reds line up Rovers friendly

Liverpool have confirmed another friendly, and whilst it isn’t at Anfield it will provide local fans an opportunity to watch the reds in pre-season without booking expensive flights.

Tranmere Rovers will be the hosts when the reds roll across the River Mersey on July 12th in the clubs first pre-season fixture.

The reds are due to report for pre-season training only 5 days before this game, and it is likely that some of those involved in Euro 2008 will not have reported back for duty with the club, however there is expected to be a strong English contingent in the side.
