El Zhar signs extended LFC deal

by Anfield Online | Saturday 11th July 2009

Nabil El Zhar has been rewarded by an extension to his Liverpool FC contract that will keep him at Anfield until 2012.

The winger, who turns 23 next month, was bought from St Etienne three years ago.

He made a total of 19 appearances for the reds last season, however 16 of those were from the substitutes bench.

The French-born player elected to select his parents home country of Morocco for his international allegiance and has been playing a major role for his country.

that’s good news I hear someone like Nabil to extend his contract with LFC,
however we like to see him and Ryan, more in the ground not at the bench
    thanks
