Glen Johnson today put pen to paper with Liverpool FC and signed a four year contract.
The 24 year old becomes LIverpool’s first major signing of the summer and his transfer fee is expected to be in the region of £17 million.
Johnson has been capped 15 times by England and turned down a return to Chelsea to sign for the reds from his previous club Portsmouth.
Speculation will now intensify on the departure of Alvaro Arbeloa.
