Ray, you seen him use his left foot? Can”t remember what game it was where he ran down the left wing and crossed it in with his left creating a goal. If only he could use the hidden talent of his left foot more often instead of bringing every ball onto his right. Never really liked babel, felt he tackled himself. Could have passed more but when given the chances he had, he should of proved himself. Undoubtebly a good player but don’t think he’s in the right team.

I agree wholeheartedly with the comments above but still feel he has never truly been given the opportunity his talents deserve. The kid is right footed but has invariably been asked to play wide left. I would have liked to have seen him given a real chance on the right for those spells when we were without Torres. Kuyt could have been played in the middle (that is what we bought him for). But, this said, he hasn’t really shone or excelled when he has been given the chances he has had.

shame he never performed to the best of his ability for us, i wish him well in his career but it is now time to move on and find a replacement who can give 100% all of the time.

Regretably, he hasn’t taken his chance to shine at Anfield.

I do wish him luck for the future, but feel he could of been massive for Liverpool, if only he had made the most of this undoubted talents. I fear he will live to regret missing out on establishing himself at one of the best clubs in Europe.

He only has himself to blame, his performances have simply been on the whole very average.

Ryan has had his chances but failed to deliever most times!.Yes,he has pace but doesn’t know how to use it instead is a clumsy footballer who is constantly falling all over the place!

We can’t afford wasting £££ million on flops then hoping that someone would be foolish enough to take them off our books by paying a similar price.He may be suitable to a certain league but at Liverpool Ryan rarely had a decent match and wasn’t even an impact player.

I’m glad that unlike Houllier our current manager is quick to realise his errors.
