New Liverpool FC Home Kit 2010-12

  1. It not a matter of what the kit looks like or anything like that, it about the team thats on it. It dont matter if u hate it or love it, i personaly love this kit because of the team thats on it

  2. i have contacted liverpool not about logo but chest badge peeling off and all i got was addidas have not cut cost in making shirt and beacause i did not but from lfc but jjb i have to go back to jjb passing the book in my eyes surely its there responsibility and addidas jjb recieved them ready to go out not like they had to iron on logo an badge is it …. i have 2 boys to buy for so not amused at quality an price i am paying out every year !!!!

  3. hi can any body help me i got the new home shirt on release date 2010 / 2012 i had worn it 3 times and the sponsor name began to peel off. i sent this back and got a replacement now after less than 3 weeks and only haveing worn it the logo is peeling off. does anybody else have this trouble…how do we contact liverpool about this subject.. wish they would stick with how they are made its not like they are cheep please help cheers ynwa

  4. I Have bought the kit twice and have had to return it twice as the lettering was faulty 1st time the letter H in cHartered was ironed on badly and 2nd time was when i washed it the letter e came off. When i was returning it the lady asked how i washed it???????????????
I WONT BE BUYING IT AGAIN

    Sorry but a bad shirt.

    • hi so im not on my own was thinking that it could be a faulty batch and even looked at the new away shirt this looks the same too very very badly made why change something thats working ok…the last shirt was very well made so they change sponsor so what. adidas should be made to change them all i think its a right cock up too could cost lots of money too

  5. Any top with the LFC crest is a must have, we all have favourites that others detest! They always grow on you eventually. All you want is to stand out from the crowd and appear to be Modern and dynamic. The ‘Toffees’ wear a Pink and Black shirt… but it hasn’t caused them major problems or embarassment!

BTW this season has been awful with lots of really bad luck, lets move on and use this as a springboard, what doesnt kill you will make you stronger! New owners, New investment, New stadium = New confidence!

    YNWA

  6. I dont know what to make of this Kit really does look strange without the carlsberg logo but if it gives us a better season next season then i dont care if they wear pink as long as we get something out of next season “CROSSED FINGERS” !! YNWA !!!!! 🙂

  7. Ohhh, and yes for that matter, we should have revert the logo to the 80’s style so that the liverbird could fly high and soar in the sky..instead of being trap inside the 100th anniversary style logo….trust me if it’s done we surely win the league again !!..

  8. to me doesn’t matter how the kit look’s like as long as it’s with new sponsor on it…WHY..? coz liverpool never won d league title with the old sponsor !..hmmm..think about it…new sponsor hopefully better luck…

  9. Apart from the shirt looking strange due to the lack of the word ‘Carlsberg’ at the end of the day it’s a piece of merchandise we (the fans ) buy it, the players wear it (some with pride, and some not !).

It’s been a long time since we had a different sponsor (maybe our luck will change, along with the owners) !

The shirts match our seasons, majority of the time Excellent but we’ve also had some dire ones !

what I didn’t realise until reading the article was that we HAVE to replace our shirts every two years under Premier League rules, (MORE MONEY MAKING IDEAS !) why ?

If we have a shirt manufacturer and a shirt sponsor why does the design have to change, Just to line the pockets of the Premier League ?

  10. Hurm… No doubt the current jersey is look better than this one. But I believe there are also reasons behind the new kit. I believe the new kit will get more sales, perhaps double of what they have sold per year and this means more money to the club.

This is because the fans in the Muslim countries now can buy the kit. We know the Muslim can’t associate with beer or anything related to them. So with the new kit, the Muslim fans can now buy and wear it.

Although some of my Muslim friends said that they also can’t associate with interest from borrowing money, which CITIBANK does, but this might not as obvious as Carlsberg.

Hope we will win the EPL 2010-2011 seasons!

  11. What does matter is underneath the kit. Who cares as long as they stand by us?

Carlsberg. I never liked the taste anyway….

Go on the reds. Prove Carlsberg that we are the best in the world. (Oh and no probably about it)

  12. @tom:

ok, ok, you’re right is unimportant thing to ask for a cool shirt every season I know that, but I can’t help it, I want my beloved reds to look cool every season.
In respect of the money, I’m not quite sure, but I believe they paid the reds something around 20 million pounds per year in a 4 year deal, compared with the 7 million carlsberg gave them is a lot of money.
the real problem is that the debt in the team is way bigger than those 80 millions, but is a great step forward, because now liverpool, together with our most hated rival, is the best payed team in the world for a space in the shirt.

  13. I agree with Tom…. What’s there in Jersey….its just for an identity..what matters most is the fight towards the top…..Its been 2 decades since not winning any EPL titles like they used to do before……..Just want Anfielder to polish themselves and shine like before. Its terrible and sad to see our fav. club empty handed every season especially for a fan who had been cheering for them and only them. ” you will never walk alone” slogan seems contrary………………………………This season we are doomed so what…..We have 2010-2011. I know Liverpool will not disappoint us (Fan). Talking about debt issues….I believe team cordination, cooperation and motivations is must………The team work.

  14. You’re all whining idiots! What does it matter that the shirts from our boys are shiny or that it says “Standard Chartered” instead of Carlsberg? The important things and questions here are:

One, the club has found a new sponsor for Carlsberg who did not renew their contract. Q: how much are they paying and how long is the contract?

Two, I don’t really think the players play better or worse depending on the shirts (unless they would be given shirts X3 their sizes!)

Get used to it [the new kit] and stop whining!

    • 1. tom any sport is 60% mentality if u look good ,u feel good,if feel good u will play good its all about physcology.how well do u perform if u dont feel the part!

      2. the kit is crap polo necks are crap they dont let u breathe they hug ur neck and make u hot they also look rubbish.
fair enough if you like the kit you obviously dont have any taste and its not just about that, the sponser logo is gash too big and brash!!

  15. Is exactly the same uniform that the Mexican squad will be wearin in the world cup, horrible indeed, not even a original os custom made. Why do adidas thinks that making a “shiny” uniform is cool?

  16. I hate it.
It’s just too flashy and somehow it just looks like an Arsenal Jersey.
Did you guys see Gerrard wearing it? hahahaha. He’s not in great shape and you can see his fat together with Carra and Kuyt.
IMO, the 2 best Liverpool jerseys were this season’s and when we won the Champion League. Just simple jerseys.

  17. its ashame because i play for liverpool u14’s and we will not be able to play in this kit until 11/12 season…but i prefer our kit at the moment to this one anyway
