Liverpool will face either FC Gomel (Belarus) or FK Renova (Macedonia) in the 3rd Qualifying Round of the Europa League.
The round will be played over two legs - scheduled for the 2nd and 9th August - with the 2nd leg played at Anfield.
If Liverpool are succesful in the tie they will have another qualifying round to negotiate before being able to enter the Europa League proper - in the group stage.
Both games are scheduled before the Premier League campaign kicks off.
