Liverpool have agreed a loan deal for Valencia defender Aly Cissokho.
The reds were keen to strengthen at left back, but have elected against a purchase of Guilherme Siqueira and decided to bring in Cissokho on a years loan.
The 25 year old French left back has been at Valencia for a year, after a succesful spell at Lyon.
Siqueria is now believed to be a target for Real Madrid.
According to Sky Sports the player will travel to Liverpool next week to join up with the rest of the squad.
