Liverpool confirm deal for Bolton’s Bogdan on a free

Liverpool's free signings spree continues as the reds agree personal terms with Adam Bogdan.

The 27 year old keeper hails from Budapest, Hungary and has represented his national side on 19 occasions.  Despite making over 100 appearances in English football his chances have been limited in the last season due to the good form of 32 year old Bolton keeper Andy Lonergan.

He played in Hungary's World Cup qualifier against the Netherlands - a game which ended in a record defeat for the Hungarians who lost the match 8-1.

Liverpool's backup keeper Brad Jones leaves this club this month after his contract expires.

Bogdan's contract with Bolton also expires at the end of this month and he will join the reds on the 1st July - joining James Milner and Danny Ings who both are approaching the end of their contracts.
