well done to all the players and fans who have stuck it out even when there morales were down,played against 1 of the best teams in europe and made then look very ordinary,we were all over them from start to finish,even when they were playing with 10 men,c’mom you reds,youve got what it takes to go all the way and lift that trophy once again.

So what took so bloody long? Tony Cascarino got it spot on in his times article. 70% of the possession and never looked like scoring. How many square balls in front of their back 4 and long shots were there? No guilt edged chances created last night – Torres’ from a pinball deflection. Should have shown more last night…..

Great result, and we’ll go through, but unless we learn how to attack/become less cautious – we will continue to fail in the league. All our problems were on show last night, and if no one takes notice itll be all the same chat on the boards this time next year. I seem to remember Valencia being more creative…..

So proud of the lads for an amazing performance. Absolutely amazing turn around from our recent fortunes. Both 11 and 10 man Inter were made to look extremely average. Let’s wallop them again in 3 weeks time.
