take a reality check,west ham are leaking goals like a drain and are not the opposition to put top class players to the test,the likes of kuyt and voronin are made to look inadequate when the opposition is of the class and level that liverpool should be playing at

You’re either class or you’re not. Everything about Fernando proves that the likes of Kuyt will never be great Liverpool players.

I take exception to that statement in as much that Kuyt created 2 goals. He may not be the best striker in the world but his work rate is 2nd to none and he is a great team player. I would love to see him score more goals for sure but to compare him to Torres when they are both playing with the same aim, Liverpool winning, is disrespectful. Torres scored 3 but Kuyt set 2 of them up, not one without the other. How would you feel if Kuyt scored a hat trick and Torres set the goals up?
Liverpool FC is about more than 2 players – Torres and Gerrard and when we cruise to victory in future credit where due. Kuyt needs more goals but works his arse off 100% and I admire him for that.

Well done Fernnando but everybody says Kuyt is not worth his salt but lets see his involvement in Fernando’s goals.On a couple of occasions Kuyt has created only for no one to take the credit.

the reception fernando got when he was brought off was up there with the one fowler got on his return against birmingham. Says it all really! he was frightening.
