that’s a very important victory for liverpool fc
liverpool can win the title this year if they win all matches till the end because man united have one wich was canceleted (man utd-wigan) i hope wigan to make a draw with man united and liverpool win the next matches and we can win the title this year and make a good figgure nezt season in champions league . this match was very good all player worked very much .well done everyone you’re the best LIV’POOL 4 EVER

I still believe the championship is up for grabs. It was a good win against Newcastle & what I really liked about the game was the chances we created & we are scoring plenty of goals like a title winning team!!!

If any team deserves the title this season beyond any doubt it has to be the mighty LIVERPOOL!!!

I hope Xabi is ok after that awful tackle, I saw Shearer on M.O.T.D. and he was not happy with that waste of space barton, there was no need for it and he should be banned for life

Newcastle are a very poor team this season but you can only beat whats put in front of you and we did that with something to spare. Our players never really got passed 2nd gear and still could have scored 6 or 7, Newcastle were awful. I think we had 25 shots in this game and they only had 2, 0 on target, that tells you everything.
Imrans right, Owen is a shadow of his former self which is a shame because he was a top player.
I always thought Newcastle would easily have enough to stay up but now theyre in real trouble, i hope either they or Boro stay up because im desperate for Hull to go down.
Still hoping that Manure will slip up, Man City and Arsenal next for them, that could easily be the points dropped that we need, its still very much alive.

Newcastle are an accident waiting to happen so it was just a question of how many we’d put past them.Without ever putting our foot on the gas we managed to constantly go through their defense like a knife through hot butter lazily scoring three in the process.

Michael Owen is a shadow of his former self but i’ve no sympathy for him considering how he left us high and dry thinking he’d be willing medal’s galore at Madrid!.Serves you right Michael b’cos you need a lesson in loyalty so hope your N’castle are relegated!

Our entire team played well especially Alonso,Kuyt and Benayoun!.Even Lucas got a goal which tells us how poor N’casle really are!!
