Managed to get a genuine ticket on the day outside the Kop after travelling up from London for the match. Arrived at 11am and after 3 ridiculous quotes of £120, £150 and, wait for it, £175 I paid £40 and added an extra tenner as gratitude for a genuine sale. Totally enjoyed the day from watching both team coaches arrive at the players entrance to the stress of getting in and the joy of attending my 1st final home game of the season with a chance to sing “Oh Sami Sami!” a dozen or more times! A great result (3-1, 86pts and a GD of +50!) plus glorius weather and watching the boys, lead by Sami in his bare feet(!) take the plaudits in a lap of honour at the end. The collage on the Kop was a fitting tribute to a man who now lives in Liverpool FC folklore… SAMI HYYPIA – LEGEND – Y.N.W.A.

I’ve been waiting for this match ever since Spurs defeated us twice during the season!.Was hoping for complete destruction similar to our 7-1 victory against them a few decades back but the boys were probably thinking more about coming holiday’s then the match!

Nevertheless we defeated them easily enough so put that in your pipe and smoke it Spurs!.Like always TH had little to play for but still appreciated Robbie’s lack of celebration after scoring showing respect to a club that even he knows is way ahead of who he now represents.
