Leto has played in four Liverpool games, twice in the Champions League and twice in the League Cup. However problems surrounding his passport, and the denial of a work permit in the summer of 2008 meant that Liverpool had to send the player on loan to Olympiacos in what could eventually be a two year deal. Leto moved to Panathiniakos in July 2009.
