Iago Aspas and Simon Mignolet have been handed their new squad numbers - replacing recent player departures.
Iago Aspas is handed the number 9 shirt - formerly held by Andy Carroll, Fernando Torres and Djibril Cisse.
Meanwhile Simon Mignolet is given the number 22 shirt left vacant by Danny Wilson. The number 22 shirt has been worn by several backup goalkeepers in recent years. Chris Kirkland, Tony Warner and Michael Stensgaard all had the number 22 shirt at some point.

Hope so too. I know they all look like world beaters on youtube, but one video really impressed me, its Aspas Vs Real Madrid, and he really played well, holding his own against a top team like Real. Worth a look.
