Carroll won’t rule out making West Ham move permanent

Liverpool's £35M man could make his West Ham move permanent at the end of the season.

Andy Carroll scored his 4th goal in 6 games at the weekend as he puts behind him an injury sustained early in his West Ham loan spell.

The big Geordie is due to return to Liverpool at the end of his loan deal this summer but he was asked about where he will be playing his football next summer.

“Obviously I don’t know what is happening so we will just have to wait and see.

“It has been great here (at West Ham) and every minute has been fantastic. The lads have been great, the gaffer has been great and the fans are unbelievable.

Asked about a potential transfer to West Ham he said:

“We will have to wait and see. It is obviously a great club and I do not see why not.”

Speculation is still rife that a sub £15M deal may take him back to Newcastle United this summer.
