Liverpool and Sunderland have reached an agreement on a deal for 20 year old Sunderland midfielder Jordan Henderson.
The 20 year old will travel to Liverpool today to discuss a deal.
A Sunderland club spokesman said:
“A fee has been agreed with Liverpool for Jordan Henderson and he travels to Anfield today with the club’s blessing.”
The clubs have been haggling for over a week on the purchase of the player, with speculation that David Ngog would travel in the opposite direction.
UPDATE: The deal is strongly rumoured to be for £13M, with David Ngog moving to Sunderland.
