CUP TEAM NEWS: THE POLE BACK IN THE GOAL

Dudek back in

Rafa is set to take a changed Liverpool side to St Andrews to take on Birmingham in tomorrow's Carling Cup 4th Round, with Jerzy Dudek back in with a chance to shine.

It is widely expected that Fowler and Bellamy will start up front, the latter having recovered from a calf injury.

Jerzy Dudek is set to make his first senior team appearance of the season, after his ban for his altercation with an Everton player in the mini-derby expired on Saturday.

In fact Rafa has taken a relatively strong line up to St Andrews, leaving only Gerrard, Hyypia, Garcia and Reina at home.

The likes of Kuyt, Alonso and Sissoko have all travelled much to our surprise.

The most important thing, after the victory of course, is that the team do not pick up any injuries ahead of the weekend's important clash against Arsenal.
