REDS DIRECTOR LEAVES ANFIELD
Liverpool director of 21 years, and one time club Chairman, Noel White, has left Anfield tonight.
Last week's revelations in the Daily Mirror from an anonymous board room member criticising the manager attracted widespread condemnation from Liverpool supporters, expressed vocally at Anfield on Saturday and through the numerous internet forums and unofficial websites.
Liverpool have responded by finding the source of the comments, widely believed by many to have been Noel White, and have acted swiftly.
Noel White said: I must take responsibility for my actions.
Chairman David Moores had this to say: It is a sad day for the club. It is not the Liverpool way of doing business.
