RAFA READY TO DISAPPOINT PLAYERS

England hero may not play .

Rafa is preparing to write one of his most ruthless teamsheets as Liverpool boss ahead of the Derby in which the squad rotation system is sure to disappoint some.

Rafa was adamant: "All of the players are desperate to play in this game, which is a big problem for me but a nice one."

"I was listening to the radio on the way home yesterday and I heard everyone talking about our options in attack."

The problem in selection is particularly strong up front where four strikers, three of whom have been playing well at international level over the past week are fighting for two places (or even possibly just one.)

But the radio station Rafa was listening too failed to sway his mind.

""One guy said he would play with Crouch and Bellamy. Then he was asked about Fowler and Kuyt, and agreed they would be good options too. Maybe I should ask if I can play four strikers in this situation?

"I know all of them want to play, but I've told them there are 60 games in a season and they will all have their chance.

"It's better for me, but it's also more difficult to make a decision, but I must think about the team. It's important all the players understand this. In my first derby here, I had only one fit striker, so I know which situation I prefer."

Tough old times then for Benitez ;-)
