Liverpool or Plymouth draw Wolves in potential FA Cup 4th Round

The FA Cup 4th Round draw has been made in London this evening.

A youthful Liverpool side drew 0-0 at Anfield on Sunday against Plymouth Argyle and the replay was confirmed today for Wednesday 18th January at 7:45pm away at Home Park.

Former England players Michael Owen and Martin Keown made tonight's FA Cup draw.

The reds (or Plymouth) will have a home tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers.  Wolves are currently mid-table in the Championship.

Liverpool last met Wolves in the FA Cup 65 years ago - also in the 4th round - when they won 2-1 at Anfield all the way back in 1952.

The clubs have faced each other 8 times since 2004 - Wolves having spent 4 seasons in the Premier League since that year.

The last Anfield meeting, in September 2011 under Kenny Dalglish, saw the reds run out 2-1 winners. The reds opened the scoring via an own goal before Luis Suarez added a second before half-time.

Ties will be played the weekend of January 28th.
