This was our live update page from Transfer Deadline Day on the 2nd September 2013.
It was a very busy deadline day morning for Liverpool Football Club, but unlike last season - they completed all their deals with ruthless efficiency.
Today's confirmed LFC transfer deals
No more deals expected at Liverpool FC tonight.
40 minutes of this transfer window to go. Looks like all the comedy is happening with Man United and Everton. Deals falling through at both clubs.
LFC will receive a loan fee from Sunderland for Fabio Borini, but this will be a similar fee to the one we have had to pay to Chelsea for Victor Moses.
As we reported much earlier today, LFC and Sunderland finally confirm Borini loan deal
Guilherme Siqueira – the left back the media said LFC ‘desperately wanted’ has gone to Benfica. On loan.
Brendan Rodgers and Ian Ayre are enjoying their starter at the Bill Shankly dinner in Liverpool. Don’t expect any more blockbuster signings.

Brendan Rodgers thinks it’s been a ‘very productive’ transfer window.
Still waiting on Shay Given loan arrival. No further business set to be done. Liverpool look like they will have spent around £17M net in this transfer window. Certainly plenty of defenders now at the club. Enough attackers?
Brendan Rodgers has just arrived at Melwood. He must have had one hell of a party after yesterday’s win.
Still plenty of wild speculation concerning Liverpool re: potential bids for Juan Mata. Could well be Chelsea flushing more money out of Arsenal or even Man Utd. Shay Given the only link with some credible weight to it.
LFC net transfer spending this summer standing at approximately £17M so far.
Shay Given loan deal being held up by wage discussions. BBC and The Times both think the deal will go ahead.
