Liverpool have completed the signing of 20 year old former Sporting Lisbon centre-back Tiago Ilori.
The player was linked to the club early in June with rumours of a sub-£5M fee, however it appears the club have paid around £7M for the talented youngster who improved Sporting's season last term.
Ilori was actually born in London, however has represented Portugal in their international youth setup.
On signing for Liverpool FC he said:
"It feels great being a Liverpool player - coming to the Premier League has always been a dream for me.
"I'm going to try and achieve everything I can. I want to play as much as possible and we'll see what the future holds. I will give my all and try my best to help the team."
