CARRA WARNING OVER BENFICA

Jamie Carragher is acutely aware of the precarious sistuation the reds are in with the second leg of the Champions League game against Benfica, after losing 1-0 in the first leg.

"We can pull this around at Anfield, it's up to us to break them down," said Carragher.

"But it is a very difficult feeling when you get to the knock-out stages. One mistake and you are out, just one lapse of concentration.

"Last season Arsenal had a bad 20 minutes in their first leg against Bayern Munich and it made the other 160 minutes of the tie irrelevant.

"That is the danger. You have to keep your concentration much more and make sure you do not make silly mistakes otherwise you are left with too much to do in the second leg.

"Before Benfica scored I cannot remember a chance they had and it was very disappointing for us to lose to a set-piece.

"The manager doesn't miss or forget much and he constantly reminds us of certain games where we have made mistakes or lost too easily.

"Every little details counts and it is things like the goal in Lisbon that he will continue to remind us about.

"We have tried to eradicate these things this season and on the whole we are seeing the results."
