Fireworks bonanza: Reds back in?

A great week for Liverpool (well apart from that team photograph anyway!).

Two clean sheets, a nice smattering of goals. The end of the media obsession with rotation. Dirk Kuyt. Stevie G. Garcia back on song in Europe. The list is nearly endless.

A couple of weeks ago some reds fans were ready to kick the cat.

At the end of the storm, as we sing, there is a golden sky, and things are starting to look a whole lot better.

The reds victory yesterday may only have moved them up to 8th but the gap that Everton were starting to extend has been removed. They will be in their rightful place beneath us very soon.

And although United won yesterday, the wheels have again fallen off Jose and Arsene's wheels.

Chelsea went down 2-1 today with a sending off for John Terry (you can picture it can't you), and Arsenal also lost against West Ham. I don't think Chelsea are the same side they have been for the last two years, and I actually think, even though we had a poor start that we can really put some pressure on the top of the table. I still think we have a real chance this season, and the bookmakers have started slashing their odds on us as well.

Next week is vital. Arsenal away is never an easy game. Our away form has been shocking, and Arsenal have been stung by this week's result. But we can do it - I think Kuyt can score goals against anybody. In fact I think I am going to struggle to get through the week waiting.

Number 19. It's still up for grabs.
