Liverpool have completed the signing of French forward Bradley Barcola for £106M (with an expected £17M of add ons) on a five year contract.
The player, who turns 24 in two days time, has been given the number 29 shirt (his favourite number) at Anfield.
The transfer has been long running, with PSG initially wanting closer to £145M for the player who scored 39 times in his 152 appearances for the European champions in the past 3 seasons.
Barcola already has an impressive collection of silverware - winning the Champions League for the last two seasons, and three Ligue 1 titles and two French cups.
Previous to PSG, Bradley spent his career and formative years at Lyon where he was identified as a future star at the age of 8.
The player said:
I just want to play, that’s all I’m waiting for. It will be incredible. Once again, when I heard that Liverpool were interested in me, I thought back to the atmosphere in the stadium and once again I was able to feel it. It’s nothing but a joy to play for a club like that.
I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it’s one of my biggest dreams in my life. So yeah, it is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term – that’s why I signed a long contract – and I hope I can do it.
