HOULLIER: 'GOALS WILL COME'

Gerard Houllier was full of praise for his players after the goalless draw with Tottenham Hotspur and felt his side did everything but score.

The Reds manager was delighted with the attacking play from his team and said goals will come soon.

Houllier said: "There are two ways of looking at this. One we are disappointed not to have got the three points because we wanted to win, and two we had a very good team performance.

"That was our best game of the season and we played great attacking football. We had enough chances to have won the game and a goal would have given us a lot of confidence, but it will come.

"I must praise the fans who were fantastic and they didn't moan because they were pleased with the standard of football we played."
