Reports today suggest that Djimi Traore is wanted by Everton boss David Moyes.

Djimi has failed to become a Liverpool regular, and as it is quite obvious that Benitez is not a fan of Houllier's French imports at Anfield the deal could be done soon.

A fee of £1.25 million has been discussed.

The reds paid £550,000 for the player in 1999, beating AC Milan, Lazion and Paris St Germain for his signature.
