The Champions League Draw will be made at around 3pm British Time today and the reds are interestingly poised.

Liverpool are seeded 10th, putting them in the second pot.

Arsenal managed to squeeze in to the first pot, and both them and Manchester United will be handed the easier groups.

But the reds could therefore line up alongside FC Porto, the current European Champions, Valencia - Rafael Benitez' previous club, Real Madrid - and meet up with Michael Owen all over again, Barcelona - Luis Garcia's old club or Bayern Munich or Deportivo La Coruna.

It is set to be one of the most difficult Champions League's in years, and Liverpool's group will almost certainly be an extremely difficult one.
