Liverpool Football Club say they are puzzled at stories circulating in England that Australian international Harry Kewell is injured, and confirm that the player is fit and well training with the squad.

Liverpool Football Club Head of Press Ian Cotton said: "We are puzzled as to where these stories are coming from.

"Harry has trained normally with the rest of the squad since the two days when we played Celtic in Conneticut."
