RAFA: 'DIOUF NOT IN MY PLANS'

Rafael Benitez has said El-Hadji Diouf doesn't figure in his long term plans at Anfield and is currently looking for another club.
The Liverpool manager had a meeting with the player before leaving for the USA and told the £10 million Senegal international that he would not be featuring regularly in his team.

Before the arrival of Djibril Cisse in July Diouf was the second biggest signing at £10 million in Liverpool's history.

Benitez said: "The first thing I always do is talk with the player first. I talked with Diouf and told him he will not play a lot in my team and perhaps it would be good for him to play with another team. At the moment he is looking for another team."
