Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has insisted he is at Anfield for the long haul, and has been overwhelmed by the support and affection he has been shown since arriving on Merseyside.

"My wife is coming round to the idea we're going to stay here 15 years," said Rafa. "She's confident in my ability and the possibilities we have at Liverpool. She knows I have to give this adventure a lot of time."


He added: "At Liverpool I feel people give the manager a lot of respect. We are safe in the knowledge that everyone in the club supports us and that's important."
