BENITEZ: DUDEK GOES NOWHERE

The Liverpool boss has insisted Jerzy Dudek has a contract to fulfil at Anfield after Jerzy recently came out expressing that he may have to move to play in the World Cup.

"We are happy with Jerzy and we want to keep him," Reds boss Rafa Benitez said.

"Most players that do not play for their club want to go, but he has a contract, has to stay and we want him to stay."

Benitez also stated that Real Betis' claim that they are set to sign Florent Sinama-Pongolle on loan, was wide of the mark.

"I have read some of the rumours in the Spanish press and I have to say it is not true," he added.

"Sinama-Pongolle is not going anywhere, Real Betis do not have any agreement so he stays with us."
