HARRY: DARK DAYS ARE OVER

Harry Kewell, the mercurial Liverpool and Australian winger, has celebrated Australia's penalty victory over Uruguay to take them to the World Cups. He now hopes the dark days of his last few seasons are behind him.

"I've come in for a lot in the last few months," he said. "I just had to focus on coming back and these two games for Australia gave me a chance to work out a few demons.

"This win is up there with the best game of my life, but now I've got to look to the future. I was nervous - everyone was nervous - but Guus Hiddink is one of the world's best managers.

"He's been there and done it, and now we should go to Germany and enjoy ourselves."
