LIVERPOOL WIN FA YOUTH CUP

For the first time in 10 years Liverpool have won the FA Youth Cup.

The reds were defeated 2-0 at Man City tonight, but won the final 3-2 on aggregate.

Adam Hamill won't be a Kop favourite though, after showing his disgust when substituted by the Liverpool management.

The reds held firm after being under siege for most of the match in front of 9,115 fans at the City of Manchester Stadium.

City's dangerous striker Daniel Sturridge scored fine goals in each half, but a hatful of other chances went begging.

Liverpool survived and when the final whistle went, they raced to the 4,000 visiting fans to celebrate.

The club honours page has been updated. Again!
