DIG DEEP FOR MICHAEL

Help bring Michael home

The Free Michael Shields campaign will be holding a collection at Saturday's game against West Ham at Anfield.

Collection buckets will be situated at various points around the grounds in a bid to raise funds for the 'Free Michael' campaign.

The 19-year old was arrested in Bulgaria last May for a crime he insists he didn't commit.

Just days previous, he'd been in Istanbul to see his beloved Reds lift the European Cup.

Despite another man admitting responsibility Michael remains in prison but the fight for justice continues.

Last August Liverpool fans backed calls for him to be released with a mosaic on the Kop, which read 'FREE MICHAEL', and campaigners are urging everyone attending the match on Saturday to kindly show their support once again.

Some volunteers are still needed, if you are able, then please email Johnny Mac at RAOTL. Collections will take place INSIDE the ground, and it would be ideal if you have a ticket for the Kop for the game.

If you are not going the game you can still donate to the collection by visiting the Free Michael website. 'Bring Michael Home fund': Sort Code: 309511 Account Number: 02499003 (at Lloyds TSB branches).
