KEWELL PRAISE FOR BRAZIL STAR

Kewell looks forward to facing Ronaldo

Harry Kewell and Australia face Brazil today in the World Cup, and although Ronaldo has faced a lot of criticism recently (his boss calls him 'The Fat Controller'), Harry insists he is still one of his favourites.

"I have always loved to watch him play," reveals the Liverpool No.7. "People keep having pot shots at him but for me, he is still a great player that people keep under-estimating. He's done so many great things, people just expect him to keep doing it. But it's not that simple. It is very hard to do that something special week in, week out."

"He is one of those players who can be quiet the whole game, somebody you might even forget is there and then he just pulls out something special when no-one expects it.

"It is not just about Ronaldo though. Brazil are a great side. We all know that, but to me it's just another team that we have to get past to go further in this competition. Beating them would be great but I don't really think like that. It's our next game and I want to be the best I can be. Everything else is beyond my control.

"I watched Brazil against Croatia and both teams were great. Brazil did well in the first half and I thought Croatia were unfortunate not to nick a draw with the way they played in the second half. While we all watch the match and see things, we're leaving it to Guus Hiddink to work out the fine details."
