REDS CONFIRM FIRST PRE-SEASON CLASH

Liverpool have confirmed their first pre-season clash of the 2006/07 season.

Liverpool will face Crewe Alexandra as part of their pre-season preparations for next season.

Dario Gradi's side, who are currently battling to avoid relegation to League One, will host Rafael Benitez's men at Gresty Road on July 22.
