CISSE WORRIED ABOUT FRENCH CALL-UP

And so you should be Djib in our opinion....

Djibril Cisse has admitted his concern about his place in France's World Cup squad.

The Liverpool striker has failed to secure a first-team spot at Anfield under Rafa Benitez and has often found himself behind Peter Crouch, Fernando Morientes and Robbie Fowler in the pecking order.

The former Auxerre striker still believes he can bring something to the French squad but knows that unless he is playing, he is not guaranteed a place on the plane to Germany.

"Yes, I'm a bit worried. There is always a fear about not being in the squad," he told Le Parisien.

"I must not complain, I just need to shut up, work and give my best."

Meanwhile, Cisse has reaffirmed his commitment to the Merseyside club and insists he is happy to remain a Red.

"I still have a three-year contract, I feel good here even if I don't play much.

"I get along very well with my team-mates and I have a nice house, a son and I have also got married."
