TOON TO SAVE US FROM NEILL?

Has Benitez done Roeder's work for him?

Newcastle United have yet again decided to use Liverpool as their Premiership scouts.

The clueless Geordies have been reported in today's Mirror, to be interested in long time Liverpool target Lucas Neill.

The Blackburn defender, out of contract at the end of the season, was possibly in line for a Liverpool move in January.

Newcastle will no doubt offer the megabucks to the player, like they did with Dirk Kuyt and Michael Owen.

West Ham and Spurs are also expressing an interest.
