Liverpool will play the Thailand national team in Bangkok later today in a game that is likely to feature some of the reds Spanish contingent in their first game of pre-season.
Steven Gerrard is at home in Liverpool with his court case and Daniel Agger is suffering with a back injury. Glen Johnson is expected to return after a slight injury worry last weekend.

Whilst Liverpool suffered a 1-0 defeat at the weekend, the Thai national team who are managed by Peter Reid – beat Pakistan 4-0 – scoring three of their goals in the first half.
