Danny Ward Profile
Danny Ward served as backup for Simon Mignolet during the second half of the 2014-15 season after Brad Jones lost his place as first choice keeper after sustaining an injury.
He was handed a new 3 year contract in the summer of 2015 before moving to Aberdeen on a season long loan.
He enjoyed a succesful period on loan becoming a fans favourite and was recalled early by new LFC boss Jurgen Klopp on the 11th January 2016 who had been disappointed with Adam Bogdan and after Simon Mignolet picked up a brief injury. Aberdeen were 2nd in the Scottish Premier League when Danny Ward returned to Melwood
