Liverpool to face Steve Clarke in season opener

Liverpool under Brendan Rodgers will get their Premier League campaign underway - away at West Brom.

Steve Clarke, the former Liverpool coach and now boss of West Brom, will host the reds on Saturday 18th August (TV Permitting).

The following weekend, the reds will host champions Manchester City in the first clash at Anfield.

Liverpool will face an interesting start to the season - the first three home games are Man City, Arsenal and Man Utd.

The reds end the season at Anfield, on May 19th against QPR.

Depending on Liverpool's qualification for the Europa League, Liverpool could see a larger than normal number of games moved back from the Saturday to either Sunday or Monday.
