All of the 'big six' are in action on a Premier League Saturday, a rare thing indeed in modern football.

Liverpool and Spurs kick off in the early Saturday game.

After two weeks of an international break both sides will be looking to maintain their early season momentum.  A win for Spurs could take them top temporarily at least, a win for the reds will keep us on top.

Dele Alli and Hugo Lloris are both out for Spurs, but Son makes a return for them from the Asian games (where South Korea won Gold).

A win for Liverpool would make it only the third time in the club's history they've won their opening five games in England's top division.  We previously achieved it in both 1978-79 and 1990-91.

Follow the game with us below.

As it happened...

The Premier League weekend is here..

Liverpool travel to London to get the Premier League weekend underway.

An international break of two weeks came at the wrong time for Liverpool who had won their first four League games.  But a busy spell is here now - with 7 games in 20 days, and big important games too.

Liverpool face Chelsea and Man City in the league in a couple of weeks, but first must do battle at Wembley.  Originally this game was to mark the opening of the new White Hart Lane, but stadium delays means that the reds return to the scene of last season's disappointing 4-1 defeat - a horror show of the highest order for Dejan Lovren who was substituted off early.

Can the reds get their busy period off to a perfect start and get revenge for last season?

Team news incoming....

11:29 UK

Keita returns in place of Henderson

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Milner, Wijnaldum, Keita, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Subs: Mignolet, Fabinho, Henderson, Sturridge, Moreno, Shaqiri, Matip

Spurs confirmed team

And here's our opponents line up

Starting XI: Vorm, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Dier, Dembele, Winks, Eriksen, Lucas, Kane (c).

Substitutes: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Sanchez, Davies, Wanyama, Lamela, Son.

12:26 UK
Aiming for goals

Liverpool v Spurs Premier League games have produced 149 goals so far.  That's only two goals behind Everton/Arsenal clashes which is the 'fixture with the most goals'.

Harry Kane and Mo Salah both playing today so that record could be in some danger.

KICK OFF

We're underway at Wembley

12:33 UK
Liverpool score..

Cross into the box - Firmino with a touch, Mane gets a touch and that makes it offside. Ruled out.

12:33 UK

4' Positive start from Liverpool who are looking confident.  Alisson stood half way inside Liverpool's half and he starts off another move.

12:36 UK

6' Early free kick for the reds won by Sadio Mane.  Alexander-Arnold with the free kick from 25 yards but Vorm catches it.

12:37 UK

7' Robertson's taken a bit of a knock.  Maybe on the thigh by Dembele.  He's trying to shake it off, but he's not one to feign difficulty.

12:40 UK

10' Elbow in the face from Moura on to van Dijk

12:53 UK

22' Approaching half way - Dier with a poor ball and Salah's on to it.  Runs on and shoots from just inside the box and Michael Vorm gets a hand on it to save.

12:54 UK

22' Foul awarded against Alexander-Arnold for a high boot.  Danny Rose makes a bit of a meal of it as replays show it was the ball, not the boot, that connected with his face.

12:58 UK

26' Spurs beginning to enjoy a spell of possession themselves now.  Liverpool doing a lot of defending. Naby Keita called into action to block a Kane cross in the area.

13:07 UK

35' Mane with a dribbling pacy run towards goal.  He almost takes one dribble too many though and his shot doesn't have enough power behind it to trouble the Spurs keeper.

13:08 UK

36' Salah dispossed in midfield. Vertonghen is on the half way line and sees Alisson off his.  Attempts a long range shot - but it's well wide.

13:08 UK

37' Now a crossfield pass from Alexander-Arnold is intercepted.  It's a little bit sloppy at times and both sides trying to make the breakthrough before half time.

13:11 UK
GOAL!!

39' GINI WIJNALDUM scores with his head.  Michael Vorm gets a hand to it, the ref looks at his watch and it's over the line.  He points to his watch and signals the goal!

1-0.

13:12 UK

Replays of Wijnaldum's goal suggest that if it hadn't have gone in then van Dijk would have had a very good shout for a penalty!

13:14 UK

43' Wijnaldum in a great position. Firmino and Keita were in the middle of the area but he didn't give them a good pass.  Big chance wasted there.

13:18 UK
HALF TIME

Liverpool make the breakthrough.  Wijnaldum's first away goal in English football the difference.

The reds started brightly with a disallowed goal, and probably should have made it 2-0 but goalscorer Wijnaldum didn't lay the ball to the two onrushing reds in the penalty area.

The reds are the better team so far and deservedly ahead.

13:33 UK
SECOND HALF

We're back underway at Wembley.

13:36 UK

48' Early pressure from the reds.  A Robertson cross hits the bar.  Appears that Spurs now have 3 centre-backs in this half - Eric Dier dropping deeper.

13:37 UK

49' Mane spins inside the area and lashes the ball but Vorm beats it away...

13:38 UK

50' Lucas Moura wrong foots van Dijk - he's in the area.  Shoots.... and it's wide, clipping the outside of the post.

13:46 UK
GOAL

54' Good ball down from Robertson, Mane powers into the area and sends the ball across - it's a bit of a mess but Firmino forces the ball over the line.

2-0 to Liverpool who look in control of this game now.

13:47 UK

13:51 UK

63' Should be 3-0.  Liverpool have a 3 on 2, Mane in the middle - he plays it left to Keita who has a narrower angle and Vorm tips it over.  Salah was free on his right.

13:53 UK

66' No way through there for Spurs.  Kane can't get past Gomez and Milner and then Lucas Moura's ball is overhit out for a goal-kick.

Liverpool playing well at both ends of the pitch.

13:56 UK

67' Erikssen sends in a cross and Kane attempts an elabarote back heel that comes to nothing.

Klopp preparing his subs.

13:59 UK

70' Henderson about to come on but Firmino's just taken a swipe into his eyeball.

Just awaiting what's happening with Bobby before making the sub.

14:03 UK
Substitutes

73' Heung-min Son replaces Harry Winks and although Henderson was due to replace Keita, Firmino goes off instead.

14:04 UK

77' Now Eric Dier down.  There will be some injury time in this game.

14:07 UK

79' Those substitutions and a couple of injury breaks have taken a big sting out of this game.  Spurs playing like the task in front of them is a bit too sizeable.

14:08 UK
14:09 UK

81' Salah tries one of his trademark curled shots but it's a bit too close to Vorm who palms it back into the danger zone.

Spurs get away with it.

14:09 UK

81' More pressure from the reds, shot from Mane that Vorm saves.

14:12 UK

84' Salah wasteful with a couple of chances.  Klopp furious on the sidelines - think he wanted him to pass the ball.

14:13 UK

85' Van Dijk and Gomez drop a bit deep and Lamela drills a shot from the edge of the area - it goes wide. Remains 2-0 to LFC.

14:14 UK

86' Cross into Harry Kane, it's a looping header from the England man and a clean catch for Alisson Becker.

14:19 UK
Final LFC sub

90' Joel Matip comes on for Alexander-Arnold.

Wembley is starting to empty of home fans now - Liverpool look good for taking all three points.

Mane puts a shot over the bar and we've got 5 minutes of stoppage time.

14:21 UK
GOAL

90+2 Oh dear, Erik Lamela has plenty of time, and receives the cross at the back post and fires in for a nervy ending to this game.

14:23 UK
FULL TIME

Worry not.  It's all over.

Just the third time in LFC's history they've won their opening five league games in England's top division.

Top of the league.
