Liverpool end Priority Ticket Scheme (PTS)

The Kop - helping the reds to titles till 1990.

Around 10,000 Liverpool fans who are members of the £55 a year PTS (Priority Ticket Scheme) will be receiving letters detailing the scheme is coming to an end.

The letter reads as follows:

Dear …,

As a valued supporter we are writing to inform you of some important changes to the Club’s Priority Ticketing Scheme Membership.

Over the past few months, the club have been reviewing its membership and ticketing schemes. This Review and consultation has involved talking to supporters and understanding the issues that fans face when trying to apply for tickets.

The PTS scheme has run in its current format for a number of years and over the past couple of seasons, we have seen a significant drop in the number of PTS members applying for tickets. At the same time, we have seen a large increase in the number of supporters joining the Official Membership Scheme.

The Club believes the time has come to combine the PTS and the general membership into one scheme, and offer a ticketing benefit to all members. This means that the PTS in its current format will cease to exist and all PTS members will be incorporated into the Official Membership Scheme.

You will still be able to enjoy ticket access for 09/10 season but at a reduced rate of £29 through the Official Membership, almost half the cost of the current PTS scheme. Tickets will go on sale to all members in advance of the general public, maintaining an exclusive access to tickets for all members. The Official Membership will also include a whole host of exciting benefits, giving members even more value for money.

We will be in touch with you in July, when the new scheme launches, with ways in which you can join.

Should you have any questions, please contact Customer Services 0844 844 2005 or email customerservice@Liverpoolfc.tv, where a member of staff will gladly assist you.

Thank you for your continued loyalty and support.

Yours Sincerely

Ian Ayre

Liverpool end Priority Ticket Scheme (PTS)

  1. it’s a daft decission to make a lot of my mates will now not be able to get their tickets .so our whole matchday will change no pub no bus no food . this will hit the small local business .to the benifit of the club makeing more money from the big spending out of towners how will spend more in club out lets and in ground . we thought it was parry ,but the clown has gone so its down to the yanks.

  2. Sickener! I’ve paid into this scheme for 5+ years and have been to virtually every game just for the club to end it without notice …Now its back to gettin to the odd game coz there’ll be no chance of gettin a ticket and I’m from the City. Thanks a bunch LFC!

  3. I live in N. Ireland and rely on the PTS to get tickets. As I have to book flights months in advance, I try to get to every home game and without the PTS I would have to see if I could get a ticket and then book flights which will have doubled in price and hotels will be fully booked. Without the overseas fan the club and the city lose a little business.
